The West Belfast Traders' Forum was re-established and constituted early in 2007 under the careful direction of the West Belfast Partnership Board.

The board is made up of local business men and women who are determined to strategically approach a wide range of issues they face on a daily basis.

Gerry Adams, local MP launched the new "Buy Local" campaign in West Belfast on Wednesday 27 June 2007.

The "Buy Local" campaign is to encourage the local community to support local and indigenous businesses which in turn will help boost the local economy.
