Blackie River Community Group offers a wide range of community development activity to the local area.
We have extensive children and family support services including: All Day Care; an Afterschools Programme: A Parents/Guardian and Toddlers Morning: Young Mothers Programme:Various Parenting courses plus BIH and Ginger Bread Advice Clinics.
Our Youth Service Provision includes an array of accredited and non accredited personnel development activities; including Health Awareness:Peer and Youth Leadership: Cross Community: Sports: Drama and many more programmes; The youth programme also offers volunteer and work experience opportunities.
The Blackie River Community Group as part of their service
deliver and host a range of adult education classes and workshops. Local history programmes and tailored education programmes are delivered to the older persons in the area.
