Setanta Hurls officially opened on 1st September 2006, however the concept has been in the making for a long period of time. Proprietor Seán Morgan engaged on a long-term market research project investigating the hurling sport, supply networks and more importantly the customers.
Due to the unprecedented demand for sticks and the push from the GAA to promote hurling, lack of ash wood and threat of composite products has prompted us to source the European market for top quality ash wood.
